Dear Reader
The Cabbage Soup Diet is a radical weight loss system based on the heavy consumption of a low-calorie cabbage soup over the course of 7 days.
The typical aim is to lose 10 pounds in 7 days, which sounds impossible.
Many people claim that the weight loss is water weight and not fat, so is not permanent.
Also, cabbage soup has an extremely high sodium content and that much salt is not good for your body, especially causing you to be dehydrated. Many people have expressed feeling weak and light-headed during the week of the cabbage soup diet.
The diet has extremely unbalanced nutrition and does not contain a protein source.
If you are an active person, this will lead to muscle reduction and soreness.
The diet only contains cabbage soup plus fruits and vegetables for 7 days.
Nutritionists say that this meal is a good low-calorie filler meal, but is certainly not substantial enough to be relied on as a dietary staple.
There are definitely better diets out there that can give you all the nutrients you need.
I woun't advise it. To see which diet I would use. Please sign up to my free daily newsletter above.
